The ignorance of the anti-freedom types is exceeded only by their arrogance.

I will happily compromise with the anti-freedom types. We don't have to roll back all the unconstitutional infringements all at once. The first compromise can be a repeal of the $200 tax on short rifles and shotguns. The next can be the repeal of the $200 tax on gun mufflers.
There are lots of things we can compromise on. The problem is, when the anti freedom types talk compromise, it is always a question of how much freedom will you give up? Never how much state control will we relinquish. Compromise is a two way street.

Sam Adams needs to go back to what he’s good at: buggering underage teen boys. In the meantime, there’s a gang war sprouting up in PDX, but I’m sure they’ll lay down their arms if ol’ Sam just rams through a few more gun laws.

Because liberals have no “common sense”!
To them it means:
Redefining as many firearms as possible as “assault weapons”.
Closing Gun Shows, and outlawing private sales or gifting.
Registering all firearms.
Require locks, so as to make them useless in self-defense.
Squelching all CCW applications.
Stop the liberals NOW!
There is NO “negtiating” with them, because they never stop.

re: Why common-sense gun reforms are often stalled
Could it be that what one side calls "common sense" reforms are not that at all, but rather one more way to defeat the intent of the 2nd amendment?
To: marktwain
The only “common sense” gun law would be to repeal the 1934, 1968 and 1986 victim disarmament laws in their entirety.
