If Rush is taking today off to avoid questions about Beck, I’d say it’s a good idea. It would put him in a difficult situation, not because Beck is a competitor, but because he disagrees with him on some very fundamental things like third parties and that the Democrats and Republicans are two sides of the same coin. I’d say Rush taking today off might be a sign of graciousness.
Bill Bennett was not on his morning show either. But whoever was subbing for him, I’m not sure who it was,(my husband was listening while eating breakfast but I was only hearing snippets) was supporting the rally and folks were calling in supporting it.
