Its kinda like the Royal Oak Michigan city council voting to “Allow” open carry during some kind of street fair.

The fought it every step of the way but Michigan law doesn’t allow municipalities to make their own gun laws. They only voted as a means of giving the illusion of power.

You’d better believe it - and they will not stop until they are stopped.

I assume the "C" in TSCA does not stand for Constitution!

Oh no — it was for real — and still is.

The Obamunists were told they couldn’t ban drilling in the Gulf — but they did.

The Obamunists were told they couldn’t regulate the net with “net neutrality,” but they’ve begun the process to do that anyway.

Now they’ve been told that they can’t regulate or ban lead bullets — but you and I and everyone else knows they will - or they will try. So — when do us rebels start pouring our OWN bullets?

You don't?
It's very easy and doesn't take much in the way of equipment...

These clowns got a call from somebody in the Dem party leadership and they were told to drop it. They were told that if they didn’t drop it, that every Dem congress critter in a tight district was going to have to answer whether they supported the EPA banning lead ammo, after they answer the one on the ground zero mosque, obmamcare, stimulus spending, etc. They were told further, that the Dem party takes a very very dim view of the Agency creating another wedge issue in what is looking like a very tough election season.

And so, it was dropped.

Been doing it for years... and I have a lead stockpile sufficient to fight several wars. FUBO & FU-EPA!

These guys are scum. It was to test the defenses.

To be specific, Lisa Jackson is doing whatever her boss (the Head Scum In Charge) tells her to do. All executive branch agencies reflect the policies of the President, good or bad, wise or foolish. Jackson, though, is the most drone-like example of this to come along in a long time.

I'm sure that the feedback they've been receiving has been a bit, shall we say... terse. Probably to the point where somebody called Federal Protective Service to report a threat, which prompted FPS to sit down with EPA and tell them "Remember, we can only protect you on federal property..."

Yeah - right, then where did the power to back-door global warming lies and policies come from?

That’s right - nowhere.

Surprisingly, they spelled it correctly. The transcriber botched it.

"These guys are scum. It was to test the defenses."

Oh, possibly. They're scum, but this could have been completely oblivious Obama Administration ignorance.

Since the EPA was set to rule on this the day before the November elections, I can't believe that this was intentional on behalf of the EPA unless we have one of our guys in RKBA who set the Obama administration up.

Ban all bullets the day before the November elections? Who in the White House thought that was a brilliant idea? Couldn't be. They're stupid, but not THAT stupid.

In fact, the whole reason that the EPA came out today and said that this was off the table was surely from some liberal in a very high place calling the EPA and screaming "ARE YOU INSANE?!" at the top of their lungs.

That's my guess.

But apparently not “carefull” (sic) enough.

Kinda hastily written to tamp down on the bad politics?
