That ship is bigger than a lot of small towns.
2400 passengers + 1100 crew
4+ miles of public passageways
Thousands of square foot of public areas including a theater which seats
1500 and restaurants seating 2000 people at any one time.

My wife and I got separated and it took 2+ hours to find each other.

You’re still in a self-contained environment. You’re still observing and monitoring passengers and crew. I’m sure there is no traffic traveling through the ship, let alone automobiles and semi’s, or traffic lights. The only time you’re not surrounded by water is when the ship is docked in port.

You stated:

“No passenger or crew can get away with criminal behavior
on a cruise ship like that.”

Taking one trip on a cruise liner, and never witnessing a crime doesn’t automatically mean there were none. There’s over 3,000 individuals on the ship, and you claim that there is no crime? How would you know? And if there was, I’m sure the captain and crew would let all the passengers know, yes. /s

A relative of mine has been working on a cruise liner for several years. Judging by the stories that’s been shared, I’d say you don’t know what you’re talking about.

I have to wonder why you, noob, would support public surveillance.
