Better to stop a prosecution of a terrorist if you’re not sure you’re going to win. If we prosecute him and lose, we’ll have to cut him loose. As it is, he stays in Guantanamo. I have no problem with keeping him there without a trial until we’re sure we’re going to win. Remember that the original plan with all the Guantanamo detainees was that they would never get a trial.
