I find this to be the case in many countries, especially the Middle-East. They know nothing about Jews, or the the Israel or America they are told to hate so much. The people are often unhappy about their crappy lot in life, but the Govt's they live under use Islam and standard totalitarianism to re-direct anger elsewhere.
