Palin Anticipates ‘Final Victory’ for Miller
National Review ^ | 08/28/10 | Robert Costa

Posted on 08/28/2010 5:29:36 PM PDT by KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle

Sarah Palin tells National Review Online that she is “very excited” about Joe Miller’s strong showing in Alaska’s GOP Senate primary. Miller, she predicts, will soon have a “final victory” after the absentee votes are counted. “Joe Miller is the right one for Alaska and he’s the right one to help put our country back on the right track,” she says.

Miller, Palin adds, “knows that it is time for Alaska to start contributing more to the U.S. with development, with responsible development of our resources — instead of being a ‘taker state,’ being a contributor. We’re so vastly wealthy with our resources but the federal government has to allow us to tap into those resources so that we can become energy secure as a nation.”

I told the National Repubican Committee person who called me the other day that as a life-long Republican, they have THIS LAST ONE VOTE to vote in CONSERVATIVES this year. No RINOs, no Democrats in Republican clothing.

ONE

LAST

TIME.

I am talking about generations of conservative lineage.

If you are a Pubbie staffer and you see this, YOU TELL YOUR MANAGEMENT.

Miller needs to hire his own attorneys to stand by and watch while the absentee ballots are being counted.

So, this is getting interesting.

Cornyn, a boring and generic patrician Establishment Republican is essentially picking a fight with Palin with the NRSC as a proxy.

Not a real good idea for a guy who's Peter Principled out in the Republican Party....no one expects him to run for anything other then what he is now.

But Palin is a different story. The Belle of the Ball, without a doubt. Maybe that's what upsets Cornyn. So he's striking back at her.

Not a real good policy fight at this point in history. No one really thinks Sister Lisa is anything but Daddy's lucky little girl...she should have the good sense to walk away when the fairy tale is over. The one she never would have been in under her own power.

Maybe McQueeg, Cornyn and a few other retro types think of themselves as the emergent Monarchy. But reality is out there, and her name is Sarah.

Love her or hate her, it's a real thing.

They're really taking a risk trying to strike at her this way. Not a fight they shoulda picked.

NRO thinks this off-the-cuff POSITIVE STATEMENT by Sarah is news? VIDEO at LINK.

I share her optimism, but Sarah is very aware of what's going on in her home state with regard to the absentee ballots and the counts that are set to take place on September 3 and 8.

I leave it my other co-ping list holders if any of you want to ping the list. I will just post a another beautiful photo of Sarah from today!

Absolutely correct. As Ace so memorably put it, just the other day:

"I hope John Cornyn and his cronies are evaluating whether Lisa Murkowski is worth destroying the party over. Whether this scintilatingly mediocre mind is worth full nuclear war within the party. Whether this desperate-for-validation insecure personality type is worth the loss of the upcoming elections. And if her primary win is important enough to Cornyn to guarantee his own primary defeat.

"I hope they're considering that, because yes, it is that serious. This is not about a man. It's not about Miller or Murkowski. This is about the principle that the people are sovereign-- are they or aren't they?"

This is about way more than Cornyn and Mrukowski. This is about the old Senate guard circling the wagons and protecting their leadership positions.

Anybody with one eye and half sense knows that Miller is one more vote for DeMint as Senate Majority Leader and one less for McConnell. New constitutional conservative Senators means new leadership and fruit basket turnover on the Senate committees.

Hundreds of people called Friday to express outrage over John Cornyn and the NRSC sticking their nose in the Alaska race. If you folks have not called, here's the number to call Monday: 202-675-6000. Send this number to friends in your e-mail contacts, put it on Facebook, Twitter.....let's give them hell.

They were overwhelmed. Read this Post from Friday:

Yup. Good comments by Ace.

Cornyn's a weasel. He'll back down. But McConnell?

This is the big fight for the soul of the Pubbies.

Stuffed Suits against the Base.

The suits won the McCain round. This one....not so easy.

Palin is building her team. She's not gonna let a key player go down, and it's good that she's got DeMint backing her. He's had a good run too in the last few days.

Reeeeaalll interesting.

Just heard on ABC radio news there were 87,000 people at the rally..

ABC News has thrown in the towel on the liberal media's efforts to downplay the huge numbers of Americans who came to the Restoring Honor rally held today at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. by radio and TV host Glenn Beck.

They are fools...witch is it??

87,000 is the estimate that CBS nuze is giving. ABC using that number means they have gone back to the liberal media playbook of underestimating numbers at any conservative gathering.

BTW, the owners of the outfit CBS used follow Michael Moore, Al Gore and Arianna Huffington on Twitter. No bias there.
