One of my personal favorites is "Copland." Prior to the release of the movie, Stallone became a caricature of sorts. After Rambo and Rocky in the 80s, his movies were just cliched and awful (although I think "Cliffhanger" and "Demolition Man" were OK).

But Copland really showed his acting chops and made him more human. He should have done more dramas and maybe even a romantic comedy in the 90s, rather than action and underdog-type movies.

I saw Copland. I thought he played his character well. Although, it’s a little challenging when you’re appearing with Robert De Niro.

100% agree! Copland was good stuff - look at the cast.

Cliffhanger was good and Demolition Man was really enjoyable too. Heck, Judge Dredd wasn't bad either, IMO.

Like I just posted, next for Sly is a Death Wish remake - that should be kick ass!!!

One of my personal favorites is “Copland.”

Yeah, good call ... I forgot about Copland, but it WAS a good flick ... I also liked Cliffhanger ... a little corny, but it had Janine Turner, who aside from being a babe, was the only conservative babe in Hollywood and Lithgow was such a great villian. The chopper scene was a classic.

You are right about Copland ... He really was good in that and it was a whole different thing for him.

Copland was very good with a very good cast. I always liked Ray Liotta.

Copland seemed to teach Sly what to look for in a movie. Ever since, he’s been different and he’s realized what many of us are looking for.
