Jane Q Public here ... when I am busting my hump at the factor, open my paycheck on Friday and see the amount the government took from my pay ... oh, yes, I am SO glad that the beautiful, historic, luxurious White House needed to be redecorated.
My house needs painted. My house needs new drapes b/c of some mishaps with the cat, Christmas tree and hot chocolate; after 20 years of marriage to a farmer resulting in three rambunctious children ... new carpet would be nice.
But, no. Barack and Michelle, you lovely RICH peeps from Chicago, you first. Please. And please, let me pay for it. Poor farmers from fly-over country just love an opportunity to show their love and support.
