There is a body of thought that says it is in his best interests for the Dems to lose at least one house in the upcoming elections.
I understand that thought. It is believed that if the Rats lose one or both houses of Congress the state media will help switch the blame for the economy to the GOP. This is assuming that the GOP acts like the GOP of 2005-2006 and not like the GOP of 1995.
