Coburn, consider your vote canceled. Newt is the first one I would vote for.

Sorry, thought he was already in his second term.

He is wrong on more issues that matter to us. And he ruined opportunities for the party when he had the power to do something positive. His personal life is his business but how he treated the people he supposedly loved is an ugly reflection of his true character.

Having read Tom Coburn's book...

I knew he'd be the last person to support Newt and it has nothing to do with his three wives and everything about how he ran the House. Yes Newt was/is a con man who treated "you conservatives" like a social disease.

Cannot be true, I suspect the last person would be DumBO.

If you think that the statement I made about “you can not trust a man who cheats on his wife” as being absurd, then you think that morals have no say in how a man acts in private life and public life. They run hand in hand. If a man is immoral in his private life, he is going to be immoral in public life. So should we keep winking at the shortcomings of every man or woman that wants to run for public office? I think that is why we are in the mess we are in now.

He's running for re-election this November, almost a guaranteed win. But he has already said that two terms in the Senate is all he will serve. He hasn't made any comment about what, if any, office he would like to run for after his Senate term is up. I would like to think he would run for Governor of Oklahoma.

We are agreeing, good. I too, do not want a ‘poser’ Republican like Juan McCain. I misunderstood your post, sorry. Newt will not win any primaries, nor will that lame pretty boy Romney. We (Repubs) will not get fooled again.

You evidently did not read my reply thoroughly. Besides that Clinton had cheated on his wife, maybe you forgot. I also believe that Obama has also done the same. The MSM protects him.
