A friend of mine who is British SAS and was stationed in Bosnia at Christmas time during part of the war once told me, “There are no good people there.”
When I pressed him on his statement he simply repeated it, and would not talk further about it.
This gentlemen has been to many tough places, and has seen some awful things — I’d never heard him speak that way about some of the other war zones he’d been to.
For what it’s worth, that came to mind after reading this post.
Now that is a bone-chilling comment from an SAS guy.
