We have a Commander in Chief that doesn’t have any idea how to conduct a war. He imposes time tables independent of the mission and to the chagrin of the generals. As such, we should pull out of that hell hole and take a lesson from the Russians. Someone please tell me how we are winning there and how being over there is worth the blood of our young men.

That would mean killing them closer to home. Better to
kill them in A’stan or the Sandbox.

The Taliban and Al Quaeda are f’ing cowards. They come out at night like vermin, set IEDs and scurry back into their holes. They can’t fight mano a mano with a US, British or Canadian solider so they fall back on their cowardly but deadly ways. RIP brave ones. Condolences to your families.

I have read that the Coalition/Taliban ratio is in the order of between 10 and 50 to one.

My heart aches and my head spins over the evil and the hypocrisy of the current administration and the servile media.

Why are American soldiers dying in a nation where old men sexually molesting young boys is a national pastime? Let’s get out. Now!

The answer "we fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here" has become a hollow answer. Having them get over here is a problem with immigration laws and lax borders - fix those and we won't have to fight them here, regardless of whether we're in Afghanistan or not.

It’s poor argument to label someone a troll for having a contrary opinion. Tell me how we are progressing over there and if you would give your kin to fight over there. I wouldn’t.

Having them get over here is a problem with immigration laws and lax borders...

************

I have never understood why that wasn’t done immediately after 9/11. It was and still is so obviously the most effective way to prevent further Islamic terrorist attacks.

A note to Gen Petraeus; apparently the rules of engagement are woefully inadequate.

"Over 58,000 US servicemen were killed in the Vietnam War. Averaged out, possibly over a hundred per week for ten years, or over 200 a week for five years."

My war was not pretty either.

The most under reported story of the year is that there have been more combat deaths in the 19 months of President Obama’s administration than in the 7 years, 4 months that President Bush was CinC of the Afghanistan War.

Are you kidding. I don't argue this anymore. Why don't we discuss the dip shit in the White House? Why don't you ask Obama these questions, I'm sure he can answer, after all he is still keeping us in Afghanistan.
