I'm so glad that OUR President.........our troop's President........is still involved in their lives.

That video of his greeting the troops coming home at DFW was a tear-jerker.

The men and women in uniform know. They know that President Bush respects and cares for them, and that the Marxist Punk Pretender doesn't care if they live or die.

Every day I am more and more proud of OUR president. He shows
over and over that he TRULY loves the troops and the people
of America!

Oh, for a 3rd term! *sigh* I imagine he’s enjoying himself
too much, though! LOL!

Yes, how many times have we seen a former President stay involved with our troops? Great man, wonderful Commander-in-Chief.

I've watched that DFW video at least 10 times! *sniff*

Amen, ohioWfan!

I have to admit that I never gave thought to GWB spending time with the troops after his presidency. It makes perfect sense, though, that he and Laura would do what they are doing. Being CIC was his favorite part of the job--of course he would want to greet his troops coming home or help raise money for them! We all know, being the man of honor that he is, that even though he believes he made the right decisions sending troops to war weighed/weighs heavily on him. I can't imagine what it is like for him to visit the wounded or comfort grieving families knowing that it was because of decisions he made their lives are forever changed.
