knowing that dimwit Bush II

What the hell is wrong with people like you, Zulu? Are you a Dem troll? Or just someone who couldn't recognize quality if you tripped over it? It's people like you who have driven me from the so-called true conservative cause, even though I am and have always been on the political Right. I'll never trust you self-proclaimed "true" conservatives again. From my point of view, you're a bunch of whiny, bratty, childish, self-defeating fools.

So you disagreed with President Bush on this or that matter of policy. Fine. Disagree. But be adult enough to stop the, yes, mindless invective against the most genuinely conservative president of our lifetimes, perhaps ever. George W. Bush was a truly great president. In my opinion, greater even than Ronald Reagan. No president since FDR was dealt the kind of hand GWB was dealt. Indeed, he had to face the first attack by a foreign enemy on the 13 original colonies since the War of 1812. He had to face that simultaneously with the anthrax attacks.

9/11/01 and the anthrax attacks occurred a mere seven months after he was inaugurated, and after that protracted struggle with Gore and the Left over who won the 2000 election. GWB's nominees weren't even in place yet below cabinet secretary level. Yet GWB stood tall throughout all of it. He almost singlehandedly dragged us and our economy back from the attacks on our government, financial system, postal system and news media. Things only started to go sour economically when the Dems took over Congress.

Katrina hit only 8 months after his second inaugural. The Left had been unrelenting in its viciousness, and the Right joined in almost immediately after GWB was reelected. Right-wing authors and talk show hosts practically fell all over themselves trying to prove that they weren't just shills for the Republican Party, so they led gullible people like you right over a cliff. The result is where we are today, with Obama doing everything he can to deliberately lose in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Whatever Obama called GWB about, the article says they only talked for "minutes," meaning it was a brief, one-sided conversation. Obama called The Man, not the other way around. What people like you are too stupid to get is that Obama is looking for legitimacy from the only man who could give it to him. Problem for Obama is that GWB really does want out of politics these days. He left office exhausted and burned out. He's more than happy to let Obama sink or swim on his own. Ironic, isn't it, that Obama should even call GWB given all the ugliness the Left spewed at him.

First you insult me by insinuating I ma a “Democrat Troll”.

Then you ask me to be reasonable stating Bush II was the most “genuinely conservative” President in our lifetime.

PLEASE.

We have been through all this before.

Bush and his “compassionate” conservativism is the reason the GOP lost control of Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008.

I am old enough to remember Ronald Reagan, who was FAR more of a conservative than any Bush could ever be. FURTHER, his legacy was a Republican victory after he completed his Second Term of office in the election of Bush I. Bush I’s shortcomings put Carter in the White House.

It took his son two terms, but he achieved an even worse legacy with Obama.

Stupidity is doing the same thing over again and expecting similar results.

And if the GOP doesn’t LEARN from the errors of the Bush I and Bush II administration, any victory they might achieve in 2010 or even 2012 will be ephemeral.

Only by implementing a truly conservative political and fiscal agenda can success in the economy and in our foreign policies be achieved, and Democrat Marxist defeats be assured in the general elections.

EXCELLENTly stated, Wolfstar!

Just like Clinton calling on Nixon, that time and asking for his advice---the very man he and his wife worked tirelessly to impeach. So sad. I pity these people for having no moral compass and then trying to take others down with them... Oh...and birds of a feather...their little flocks fly together

BRAVO! Thank you very much! Applause

President Bush
has gotten so bad around here, I don't hang out like I once did.

Generally, I just picture President Bush in my mind's eye and move on when they pour out all their venom on him ...

Morons

It is good to see you, Wolfstar. I've been thinking about you a lot lately -- what with the 5th anniversary of Katrina and all -- and the wonderful date/time stamped pictorial guide to Katrina you produced. It disproved EVERYTHING the mediots, and their sycophants were blabbering about at the time.

President Bush ... so very much!

The Iraqi's thank President George W. Bush ...
Hero

...and so do I! Dubya

And of course, as always ........ Photobucket
