How are Romney’s parents birth in Mexico relevant to his eligibility? Unless his parents were not U.S. citizens at the time of his birth on U.S. soil, he is eligible to the office of POTUS.

Logistically, it always made, well, not more sense, but let's say it made for a far less preposterous story line to have BO's mom travel to Canada, from Hawaii, than to have her fly BOAC DC3s into Kenya. Of course, at this point, having unwisely bet the farm on Kenya, its going to be hard for Birthers to advance the Canada storyline without, at least implicitly, conceding that the Kenya storyline was never anything more than paranoid speculation, unsupported by logic, or facts.
