Sen. John Kerry is still King of the Hill.

The Massachusetts Democrat’s net worth increased by more than $20 million last year to at least $188.6 million, extending his reign as the richest member of Congress.

Outgoing Rhode Island Rep. Patrick Kennedy, meanwhile, ranked among the richest members of Congress for the first time - thanks to an inheritance from his father, the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, according to The Hill.

“Voters have had enough with the millionaires club, and that’s exactly why they elected Scott Brown,” Breed said. ‘They want someone who’s earned their money, not married it - twice.”

Twenty-seven Democrats and 23 Republicans made the “Rich List.” Runner-up to Kerry was Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) with a net worth of $160.1 million, down more than $4 million from 2008.

Kennedy’s net worth was $6.1 million, up from slightly more than $100,000 in 2008, placing him 47th on the list. “Patches” now controls two trusts, worth at least $6 million, established by his grandfather, the late Joseph Kennedy. He also controls another trust in his father’s name, the value of which is undisclosed pending the administration of his estate.

JFKerry’s big money comes from his wife, who got it from her deceased husband.

The Massachusetts Democrat’s net worth increased by more than $20 million last year to at least $188.6 million, extending his reign as the richest member of Congress.

---------------------------

He may have a Yale background, but essentially he went to Vietnam and came back protesting war, which got him into office, and got him into wealthy circles and voila... A newly minted, instantly wealthy socialite and politician.

Kerry is an irretrievable disgrace ever since he testified against his fellow soldiers in the Delta. The man is a self-serving phony and worse, a disgrace to the US Senate. He's a rat Democrat who tried skipping the yacht tax in times of recession. This gaffe prone prima donna always seems to contort himself into awkward positions.

He pontificates about the rich getting unconscionable tax breaks from Bush, and then he, like Charlie tax-cheat Rangel and a raft of extreme-Left Obama nominees to high office: Geithner, Daschle, Killefer, and Kirk have the gall to avoid paying them.

It's sad that the people of Massachusetts vote for this smug, self-loathing, compassionless ego maniac. There is no end to his pompousness and hardly anything positive to say about him.

You liberals really do live in a fantasy world. None of your high-profile Democrat politicians give two craps about people. They care only about their power.

60's Liberals are the scourge of this country.

I don’t believe for a minute little Patty Kenedy was only worth a hundred grand in 2008.

As for the rest of them, they all make me sick. They’re all a bunch of arrogant snobs who love the power. Otherwise why would a millionaire want to be in congress.

I hope I live long enough to see some real hard working down to earth Americans take over D.C.

Awwww, that's plain mean.
Sen Kerry owes all his 'good fortune' to his lucky CIA hat.

(He served in Vietnam, ya know)
