...”A person who receives housing benefits that they are not entitled to steals taxpayer money,” Keenan said...
Yep. And those that are entitled to the benefits are just having the government steal taxpayer money for them.

Section 8 is nothing more than redistribution of wealth.

Section 8 is nothing more than redistribution of wealth. It destroys more wealth than it redistributes. Never invest in real estate in a neighborhood with many section 8 renters.

Fraud.
The simple ignorant act of providing able-bodied people with subsidized/free housing is an enormous act of fraud, in and of itself.

I used to think I had some pie. Then I looked at my state, local, and federal withholdings.

Section 8 gives them gobs of money so that they can move to a part of town that hasnt been totally ruined yet. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the truth.
Section 8 is ruining my old neighborhood. Many people still there see crime rising like crazy, but can't piece together exactly why. They also don't know that real estate agents selling houses and landlords renting nearby will not disclose to people information pertaining to Section 8 housing in the area.

There is a Section 8 apartment complex near me. All over the thing are satellite dishes for TV. My view is if you can afford to pay for satellite TV, you should not qualify for Section 8 housing.
Also, the ONLY TWO homicides last year in my city were in this apartment complex.
I asked a local cop what he thought of this apartment complex and he said “I wish I could call in an air-strike”.
