Does this mean that it is ok to piss on a rainbow flag?, or would that be a hate crime?

“A federal judge overturned Nebraska’s ban on flag mutilation Thursday, clearing the way for Kansas church protesters to continue trampling on the U.S. flag when they protest at military funerals.”

Okay...so here’s a thought....

In the US Flag Code. TITLE 4 > CHAPTER 1 > Sec. 8(k). It states:

“The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning”.
************************************************************

So, with that rule in a dignified way would we have the right to “burn” the U.S. Flag?

Even if a certain person (aka protester) just happened to be trampling on the U.S. Flag.

PS Not promoting violence or any personal attacks.

Just inquiring..................
