ORDERVILLE, Kane County — A community said goodbye to its hero Friday.
Kane County sheriff's deputy Brian Harris, shot and killed in the line of duty Aug. 26 while pursuing a burglary suspect, was laid to rest in the small Kane County town of Glendale.

It’s always very tough in these small towns. But we always come together. We had planned the Mountain Carmel Festival to celebrate 9/11. As a member of the town council Brian voted strongly if favor of a donation of $1,000 for the festival.
Oh the Irony.
