Of course, it should be. The only question is where should the line be drawn. Unfortunately for Mitt, too many conservatives put Mormonism in the unacceptable category to allow him to be elected.

A person's religion (or lack of one) informs a lot about how a person thinks and their character. To ignore it when considering a candidate is foolish.

Fortunately, for me, Romney's Mormonism is a moot question. Romney-Care, his abortion flip-flops, his opposition to Reaganism, etc. have already disqualified him in my book as a viable candidate. Romney might try to wear the label of conservative but his actions reveal his true ideology.
