What infuriates me is thinking about the condescending jackasses who were convinced that they were superior because they were supporting Obama in ‘08.

They really were convinced that all those NOT voting for the Kenyan turkey were stupid redneck racists who were too dumb to be allowed near a voting booth.

Most of those same people are disgusted with him now. There is no excuse for anyone being fooled that badly, they simply refused to see what was blatantly obvious.

Ha! You're talking about my entire family. They're all curiously silent about The Great and Powerful Obozo now.

During the election, they wouldn't stop yelling about how he was going to transform the world and smite the dumb redneck party with his mighty hand.

A year and a half on? Crickets....

Not even a bump for allegedly ending the war in Iraq (although he left 50,000 Troops there)?

That’s a lot worse than flying a “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” Banner, on an Aircraft Carrier of Brave Airmen who ACTUALLY DID Accomplish THEIR Particular Mission!

Something similar happened with Clinton, I remember people around here saying that they couldn’t find anyone who voted for him, how did he get elected? This clown is going to make Clinton look like a great president by comparison.

The running joke around FR these days is, "Does Obama make me miss Dubya? Heck, he makes me miss BUBBA!"

Incompetent street urchin.

Funny, 2 years ago he was billed as a master politician. It's a lot easier to promise paradise than achieve it. And this year voters can't vote against the bete noire GWB (not literally black), just as voters could not vote against Nixon any more in 1980.

Actually, no. But I was merely responding to the post of another FReeper. I didn’t think this thread was the place for my long, long list of peeves about what has happened to the English language. However, the absence of the use of adverbs is tops on that list. For example...today most people would write: “I am sorry I didn’t respond too quick to your reply.” Grrrr, LOL And you hear that type of thing everywhere...in advertisements, speeches, movie dialog, by news commentators, etc. In the past decade it seems as though those who attended college to study journalism or writing must have left their adverbs back in junior high.

I say Obama resigns at -14 approval.

I totally believe him when he says he pays no attention to polls. He is such a narcissist that the only rating that means anything to him, is when he looks in the mirror and gets that "nod of approval" from the image. He'll never resign nor do we WANT him to! As long as he is in power, he will take the Democratic Party down with him in flames. We want him front and center and playing his little tin god act to the hilt. Tying every single RAT politician to him at every level will doom them.

33% of people think for themselves (conservatives), 33% believe that not only can they think for themselves but that you should also let them think for you (liberals), 33% are content to have others think for them (lazy voters). The last group will buy whatever the media tells them, and in 2008, the media told them that Obama was everything that he has proven not to be.

“There is no such animal as a good Democrat.”

How true; how very, very true.

(The question is, why don’t they just move to Cuba and live happily ever after?)

“...the condescending jackasses who were convinced that they were superior because they were supporting Obama...”

That would be all those smarmy Independents who think of themselves as brilliant geniuses because they lean left.
(They like to imitate those other smarmy geniuses on the
Democrat side in congress.)

IMHO

I wonder what did it this time. My guess is it could have been his recently attempted legal rape of Joe Arpaio, who is wildly popular among normal people.

The Price of Pelosi and Reid getting their BUTS kicked out of office in two months...

Is Pelousy's seat really at risk? If so I haven't heard. I thought she was wildly popular among the San Fransodomites.

You may well be right. But it is a sad commentary that we have to worry about the behavior of young adult children of candidates. Anyone who has raised a "free spirit" knows that your control declines progressively from about fifteen onward.
