WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House said Tuesday that a Florida church's threat to burn copies of the Muslim holy book could endanger U.S. troops abroad, while the State Department denounced the plan as "un-American" and said it would put American diplomats and travelers at risk.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs noted the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, Gen. David Petraeus, has warned that images of a burning Quran would be used by extremists to incite violence.

Last week the meme was that protesting the Ground Zero mosque would agigate the moderate muslims and send them over to jihadist extremism.

Obama couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the troops as he endangered them as a Sentor when he complained about being over there and failed to suport the troops then!

It’s pretty easy to trap your average lib in their “true” ideology -
just ask if burning Korans is OK, and if Korans should be banned from reading in public schools. Then substitute the Bible in the same questions.
Doesnt help when the commander in chief is a muslim.
The troops are endangered under his “guidance”.
“Going to War with the enemy endangers our troops.”
Going to War with one arm tied behind our backs endangers our troops.
Therein lies the problems...
And that being that Gen. Petraeus is not using this development to his advantage. He should follow General Patton's theory that wars are won by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
But I suppose his real job is not fighting a war but administering a "peace corps".
The whitehouse is the danger here, Not to just the troops but America as well.
I call big BS on this. How long before they'll be using the same excuse and telling Americans to stop protesting the Ground Zero Victory mosque or Islam will have its panties all in a wad etc. etc. etc...
The fact that America is not yet a part of the Islamic Caliphate endangers our troops.
