I think this is a very stupid move by Holder/the administration and it will only serve to push more people away from Obama/democrats. Most people, even many democrats, have had enough of this crap. The fact that there haven’t been any attacks on Islam/Muslims and the clear double standard vis-a-vis Chistianity is beyond obvious. We can all see that the sky is blue and not red.
What are these people (Holder, et. al.) really saying by deeming it necessary to have this meeting? They’re saying 1) That the opposition to the 911 Mosque represented irrational prejudice/hatred against Islam; and that 2) The decision by ONE pastor at ONE church to burn Korans is syptomatic of widespread anti-Islamic sentiment.
Both of these conclusions are patently false and similar events directed at other religions have NOT resulted in the need for similar pow-wows.
People are sick of this crap, at least I know I am and I consider myself to be a pretty tolerant person.
