I agree the government totally was in the wrong in a lot of ways. But there are also questions that are never asked on here. Weaver is always a hero here. Not the truth in my opinion and Im not afraid to say it.
It has nothing to do with him being a hero to anybody. That’s just an excuse you’re using to deflect from what the government did. That’s the story. There is nothing interesting or unusual about a citizen committing some crimes. The only thing that makes it a story is how the authorities handled it.
Less a hero than a victim that many have empathy for. A shotgun that is sawed off a bit shorter than the law says is o.k. is hardly justification for killing a young boy and his mother.
What questions were not asked?
You said the government was wrong in a lot of ways. In which way were they correct? What was correct about an armed siege on someone who failed to show up for court?
