Meghan McCain's trip on the book-promotion circuit brought her to "The Tonight Show" Tuesday," where she opened up a bit more about her relationship with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
McCain said she didn't find out her father had chosen Palin to fill out the 2008 Republican presidential ticket until a "couple of hours before" they appeared onstage together. She said she cried on the way to the rally.
