The trouble is that it's not just the illegals. Even a large percentage of those "with papers" still cling to the ways and "culture" of Mexico.
There exist communities in this country that still predominately use Russian, Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), German, Spanish,..the list is endless. So what?
They wouldn’t be forced to shut up! Printing newspapers and magazines in another language would be legal.
A national language does not equal censorship.
