Our politicians warn us not to enrage them... but they don't understand the danger of emboldening them, encouraging them to demonstrate threats and violence against us. They need to know that our Freedom of Speech is not to be subordinated to the theo-political construct known as Islam. In other words, we cannot give in now. That idiot pastor started us off on a game of chicken and now we have to keep driving. We need to burn the Korans, not to show we hate, but to show we do not fear.
It’s not about defending this stupid pastor, it’s about defending our Constitution, and not allowing anybody to let us compromise our principles.

Well said.
This will embolden the enemy. General Petraus has condemned it. But if his word isn’t enough for supporters of the burning, then perhaps they should consider that if they are Christians or Jews then it is blasphemy.
