Muslims are outraged and incensed over the nutjob pastor threatening to burn a Koran. "It's a Holy book," they say. "It's sacred," they say. "Destroying it is like trying to destroy Allah."
Why were these same Muslims NOT enraged nine years ago, when 9/11 terrorist ringleader Mohammed Atta tried to do the same thing?
Atta had a Koran in his luggage, which he tried to carry on the plane with him in Portland. The airline wouldn't let him, and his bags missed the flight.
Atta KNEW that if he were successful in his suicide mission, then his Holy Koran--the sacred word of Allah--was going to be incinerated along with the entire plane and everyone on board as it slammed into the World Trade Center. He was planning on burning a Koran.
And yet we never heard a peep from the Takfir Perpetual Outrage camp.
I guess it's only a sin when the infidels burn 'em.
But even more offensive is the hypocrisy and rage among the followers of The Religion of Peace.

was it the Koran or too big luggage they objected to ???
Cuz if carried his luggage with him, he might have done something crazy...
Only one carry-on allowed:
One suitcase had Atta’s earthly belongings, including many things he used or wanted to use in his mass-murdering plot, while the other contained his spiritual requirements to enter paradise.
“It was clear to us he did not want to check those bags,” the American employee said.
Indeed, Atta intended to carry on all three of the bags he initially brought with him to Portland International Jetport in Maine earlier that morning, sources there say.
But Atta was forced to check his two larger bags, described as soft-sided with roller boards, because the 19-seat commuter plane he flew to Boston allows passengers just one carry-on bag each, says a US Airways Express employee who works at the ticket counter where Atta checked in.
The two bags were tagged for final destination to Los Angeles International Airport, which is where Flight 11 had been bound.

Even worse is the Hypocrisy of the Leftwingtards in this country. Where was Patreus when Jones’ little buddy Phelps was harrassing funerals?
Certainly that had to demoralize the troops and cause problems.
Well, maybe it was that the Obama regime KNEW that Phelps was a Democrat, but they didn’t know that Jones was his close friend.
So, the Patreus standard is that it’s OK for Democrats to do what they want, demoralizing or not, but someone show up who’s not clearly a Democrat, then he’ll speak up ~ and same with Obama.
We gotta change this stuff around. We should take over their districts, send their leaders packing and convert them to Conservatism.
Too many bags, it seems.
They have selective outrage it seems.
OK just one carry on because it was just a little plane..
No kidding. Al Qaeda kills hundreds of Muslims in embassy bombings, slaughters countless Muslims in Iraq, and the MOF (Muslim Outrage Factor) is zero. Crickets.
We take out a meeting of high-value AQ targets in Pakistan, and a couple of their family members are standing too close, and we’re the monsters.
In 1997 muslims burned 13 Christian churches in the Punjab as well as 1500 Bibles. No worldwide reaction from Christians. Coptics are beaten and/or killed weekly in Egypt. Benedict is not on Skynews calling for a Crusade.Buddhists worlwide did not threaten violence when the historic Buddhas of Afghanistan were demolished by the Talies. Yet if these Korans are burned they will attack us. If the mosque is not built they will attack us. And yet there are moderate muslims? Really? How moderate can people be who threaten us for burning a book and not building a mosque. I think this pastor is over the line, but he performed a useful service by revealing that moderate muslims may be less of a reality than conservative Democrats.
That’s American Airlines logic for ya. I’m guessing the plane from Portland to Boston might have been smaller, but I don’t know.
Walking through a cocoa plantation on the way to her private Christian high school in Poso Kota subdistrict, 15-year-old Noviana and three fellow students were ambushed by six masked Islamic terrorists. Theresia Morangke, 15, Yarni Sambue, 15, and Alfita Poliwo, 17, were all decapitated and their heads found in bags on the steps of a church and along the road to a police station with the message, We will murder 100 more Christian teenagers and their heads will be presented as presents. Their bodies were discarded at different locations.
Unable to get a clean shot on Noviana, the attackers managed to slash the right side of her head from neck to cheek. The blow damaged nerves, resulting in the dislocation of Novianas lower jaw. She still suffers from severe pain in her head and jaw, and because of her loosened teeth, she cannot chew well. Noviana is having an examination and continued treatment this month through VOMedical.

MOF? Zero.

I looked at the pastor in the same way but some good came of this threat. It held up Muslim intolerance and hypocrisy for the world to see and absorb.
The world’s attention to this intolerance is encouraging. What the pastor threatened to do got more attention targeting muslim intolerance than all the experts whose warnings have fallen on deaf ears for years. Maybe we’re waking up, finally.
That’s true...but if the world yawned in indifference to the rage and threats about a CARTOON a few years back...they won’t care much about the intolerance in this issue.
