I’m curious.

When Muslims murder and rape people, do you blame Muslims for those atrocities?

Or do you reflexively look around for Westerners to blame?

If US soldiers die because a Muslim attacked them, whose fault is it? Take your time with this one.

I’m curious. When Muslims murder and rape people, do you blame Muslims for those atrocities?

When Bernie Madoff swindles billions of dollars, do you blame Bernie Madoff or do you blame "the Jews"?

Do you mean "do you blame ALL Muslims for those atrocities"?

No, I don't.

I blame the individual or the group responsible.

I blame this guy who is a Muslim and is an extremist religious nutjob who ordered the attack:

I do not blame the guy with the mustache who is Muslim but is one of our Muslim combat allies who are fighting with us against the extremist religious nutjobs:

The concept is called "Individual Responsibility and Accountability" and is a traditional American value.

For example, in America, if a man named Bernie Madoff swindles $18 Billion from his investors, most Americans blame a man named Bernie Madoff.

What you stated above was the thinking in Germany in the 1930's. In that place and time, if a man named Bernard Madoff swindles a huge amount of money, the Germans would have blamed "The Jews".

Get it?

Okay class, we will now have a Pop Quiz:

If three white Ku Klux Klansmen in Mississippi, claiming to be Christian, lynch a black man who was dating a white woman because they belive that God condemns such practices, who should we blame for the lynching?

A.) The three Ku Klux Klansmen involved

B.) All Christians

c.) All white people

d.) All Southerners

Or do you reflexively look around for Westerners to blame?

non sequitur ( non se·qui·tur ) A statement that does not follow logically from what preceded it.

If US soldiers die because a Muslim attacked them, whose fault is it? Take your time with this one.

The Muslim who pulled the trigger and not every single one of the 1.1 Billion other Muslims on the Planet Earth.

Some day, if you try, you may be able to understand the traditional American concept of "Individual Responsibility and Accountability".

It's not Rocket Science.
