It can be any “other” the individual decides to dislike and usurp God’s place. What a low opinion they must hold the God of all in. Or as Michelle Malkin calls it, “The Religion of Perpetual Outrage.” You know, that actually goes a long way toward explaining the alliance between liberals and Muslims. Among all the liberals I've known, the specifics of the cause (barring, of course, any Christian or conservative causes) doesn't matter nearly as much as getting mad as hell about it. Thus the all-important "solidarity" becomes more about taking a similarly belligerent attitude toward The Man (tm) than about seeking to address any actual injustice.
