I live in upstate NY. A friend called me from Florida. My son was living in NYC at the time. Waited patiently. My other son finally got through to him.

The horror continued...the Pentagon....the Pennsylvania site. Had those planes both made their target...the Capital..every building along the capital mall would have been destroyed.

A note....The wall on that side of the pentagon had been upgraded "structurally".

Never forget "Let's roll". Never forget "3000 Americans" and the soldiers who continue the fight against a dastardly enemy.

I also live in upstate New York.

We drove to Rhode Island the weekend after 9/11. I was amazed at all the flags attached to overpasses.

I attended a NASA-sponsored SBIR event in Albany about two weeks after that awful Tuesday. At the luncheon, the seniormost NASA representitive, who was the "keynote speaker," led the entire room in prayer. There were about 250 people present.

We all prayed too. You better believe it.

Amen to that.
And let us keep that in mind as we all work for the upcoming elections. Who is in office DOES matter, and we can influence that.
Some politicians do not want to think that our nation does have enemies.
