Just listening to a clip on the radio and he sounded as if it was being feed word by word, now could it also be working on getting rid of the speech impediment of saying ahhhhh in between everything? And if this were the case, they’d be better off to explain he was working at improving his speaking skills when not using a prepared text. It’s the thought impediment I’d fault, his economic policies are liberal Keynesian trash.
So Jake Tapper, he actually called him Jacob Tapper out there, from ABC News, one of the remaining employees at ABC News that David Westin hasn't jettisoned. Jake Tapper stood up there and asked Obama some health care questions. He said, "Costs are really going up out there but you said the costs are going to be going down out there, and what do you have to say about the Democrats running ads against health care on the campaign trail." And Obama said, "We never said it was going to be free." You didn't say it but you pretty damn well implied it. He said, "When you start adding 32 million new people to the insurance rolls it's going to cost some money." Yeah, but he didn't say that during the run-up to all this. In fact -- I'm paraphrasing this -- he said, "The reason health care costs are going up is because we're now ensuring 32 million more people," but that's not true. We're not doing that right now. At the moment we are not. There are no previously uninsured people who are being uninsured. That hasn't kicked in yet, and yet the costs are still going up. And the government's out there saying, "Don't blame us. Blame insurance companies." The insurance company says, "Don't blame us. Blame the government." And the people walking into the free clinics, "How much is this gonna cost? I thought it was free." Obama said, "No, we never said it was going to be free." What Obama said was, insuring the uninsured was gonna make costs go down, because we were paying for them anyway but now we were gonna get 'em insured and somehow this was gonna make 'em go down. This has been incoherent.
Obama is a horrible speaker. He speaks in a clipped monotone that becomes grating on the ears and nerves. As a former signer listening to him from a standpoint of acoustics is like having one’s teeth pulled without anesthetics.

I think the reason he spoke so slowly at times, was that somebody in another room had a file of categories....economics, mosque, BP, etc., and uploaded it on the screen.

A quick google on that turns up a nationwide recall of Omega sprinklers, ordered by the CPSC. They were installed in the WH, among many other state and federal properties.

We used to tune in but he is boring, disgusting and says the same old campaign rhetoric over and over. He has nothing new to say. He has nothing POSITIVE to say...it’s always gloom and doom and talk about changing America. America doesn’t need changing obama... Can’t wait till November.
