I don’t think this district has much of a gop base. If Charlotte could somehow ignite some passion among blacks to switch parties it might flip.

The County portion is strong GOP, the city is usually strong dem, but this time around the economy is bad, 10% unemployment. Quite a bit of the district is in the county portion, Germantown, Raleigh, Bartlett, etc.

We will also have a very high county turn out, consolidation is on the ballot...70+% of county residents OPPOSE it, they aren’t fools, they know consolidation means more taxation, less services, lower property values, more crime, and ONE PARTY RULE...DEMWIT.
