Suppose it depends on what they think “bless” means. If it’s #1 I’d say yes.

Heresy is a possibility. The so-called pastors who were going to burn the Quran were engaging in blasphemy, since the definition is carrying God’s name in a false or bad way. God never commanded, nor did Jesus instruct to do any of these things. Sometimes people forget themselves.
