House Minority Leader John Boehner, Ohio Republican, was piled on this weekend following his response to whether or not he would vote to extend the Bush middle-class tax cuts, if that was the only tax relief available to extend, and the Bush higher income tax cuts were not allowed the same extension.
In an interview on Sunday with Bob Shieffer on CBS’s Face the Nation, Mr Boehner said:
“We don't know what the bill's going to say, alright? If the only option I have is to vote for those at 250 and below, of course I'm going to do that. But I'm going to do everything I can to fight to make sure that we extend the current tax rates for all Americans."

I think the same state-run media that turned “illegal alien” into first “undocumented worker”, then “migrant”, and finally just plain “immigrant” finds it no more difficult to turn “Bush tax cuts for the rich” into “tax cuts passed under the Bush administration”, and then into “Obama’s tax cuts for the middle class”. They boil the frog slowly but the same job gets done. Always remember:

It's not pandering...it's reality.
Not all these people are stupid...many of them just don't have time to research like you or I. They can't keep up with every 24/7 dynamic that happens in DC.
