Southern Power Co. on Old Augusta South Rd (closest thing that matches the article’s description) is 3 miles from I95 at the closest. Nothing akin to a nuke plant there, nor open water needed for one. It’s a dirt road with nothing there. At least that’s what Google Maps shows.
