The form you posted lists April 8 as Obama’s birth date. According to the official story, isn’t it August 4? Has anyone pointed out the birth date on this form differs from the hagiographical one? How many different dates in ‘61 was he supposedly born on, anyway?

Very wierd wording to his fictitional tale this morning. It really revels Obama’s current mental state in a new light.Let’s dissect it:

“....He started to tell her he didn’t need to hear that, but Obama says she cut him off, gave him a hard stare and asked if he remembered what it was like to put in a little effort. Obama says hearing that from his mother ‘jolted him’.

So here is Obama....’jolted’ just because his mother ‘cut him off’ and ‘gave him a hard stare’ and asked him if he ‘remembered what it was like to put in a little effort’? All because he was going to tell her he ‘didn’t need to hear that’ and ‘he was being casual about his future’?

Obama seems to have been ‘jolted’ just because someone was questioning him...the messiah....lol. His self absorption knows no bounds.

This is very instructive about his own attitudes right now. Obama is ‘jolted’ because he is being ‘questioned’ by the American people. His usual ‘casualness’ isn’t working and he is being ‘cut off’ by his critics.

The man is an open book psychologically and it’s no longer a page turner...lol.

The form is using day-month-year format, I.e. 4 August 1961.

“Jolted?”

In the speech, he recalls a conversation with his mother about his slipping grades, how he hadn’t started filling out college applications and how he was being “casual” about his future. He started to tell her he didn’t need to hear that, but Obama says she cut him off, gave him a hard stare and asked if he remembered what it was like to put in a little effort. Obama says hearing that from his mother jolted him.

“But eventually, her words had their intended effect,” he says. “I got serious about my studies. I made an effort. And I began to see my grades — and my prospects — improve. And I know that if hard work could make the difference for me, it can make the difference for you too.”

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/politics/national/stories/DN-obama_21nat.ART.State.Edition1.36f7d9b.html

“I will confess to you that I was kind of a goof-off in high school, as my mom reminded me,” he said. “You know, I made some bad decisions that I’ve actually written about. You know, got into drinking. I experimented with drugs. There was a whole stretch of time that I didn’t really apply myself a lot. It wasn’t until I got out of high school and went to college that I started realizing, ‘Man, I wasted a lot of time.’ “

Seriously. Dude can’t go two sentences without saying the word “I”.

He also can’t stop lying. According to the Wikipedia article on Obama, his mother wasn’t around when he graduated from high school. Fact is he was abandoned by both his parents. What would that do to you?

Thanks. What makes it even more embarrassing, my ex was/is a military contractor, and he puts the date first too. Maybe I just need more caffeine. ;)

So is Obama going to tell the same story every year now? How boring. The only thing new this year is the ‘jolted’ part of the mythology. She probably caught him smoking pot and was pissed he didn’t offer her a toke too...lol!

Shame on his mother!

Teaching him to work hard at destroying the greatest country on Earth! Sometimes it’s NOT good when your child work toward a goal. I wonder if Mao’s mom said, “Eat your oatmeal! How are you going to grow up to kill several million people if you don’t eat your oatmeal?”

America would’ve been much better off if he had become a hobo.

Viewing the address was optional at our children’s school. I asked the kids to watch.

Tonight we’ll discuss how his message of hard work conflicts with his tax-funded hand-outs.

His lips say “work hard” while his deeds say “if you don’t work hard, those that do will pay your way.”

You are right according to this - NYT puff piece.

By 1974, Ms. Soetoro was back in Honolulu, a graduate student and raising Barack and Maya, nine years younger. Barack was on scholarship at a prestigious prep school, Punahou. When Ms. Soetoro decided to return to Indonesia three years later for her field work, Barack chose not to go.

“I doubted what Indonesia now had to offer and wearied of being new all over again,” he wrote in his memoir. “More than that, I’d arrived at an unspoken pact with my grandparents: I could live with them and they’d leave me alone so long as I kept my trouble out of sight.” During those years, he was “engaged in a fitful interior struggle. I was trying to raise myself to be a black man in America.” Ms. Soetoro-Ng recalled her mother’s quandary. “She wanted him to be with her,” Ms. Soetoro-Ng said. But she added: “Although it was painful to be separated from him for his last four years of high school, she recognized that it was perhaps the best thing for him. And she had to go to Indonesia at that time.”
