Since Wednesday the National Institutes of Health have approved 33 new lines of cells as authorized under the Obama administration.

..Mike Castle looking on, last March issued an executive order which called on the Institutes of Health to support and conduct scientifically worthy human ...

pressure from the pro-life factions of the Republican Party

My assumption was only because they didn't think the government should be paying for it. ??

Looks like Castle is setting up to go third party if he doesn’t win the GOP nomination today. Why else release this sort of rubbish now?

Maybe somone will correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember that Bush did not ban embryonic stem cell research. He only banned using federal funds for the research.

Rush has skewered Castle nicely on his show today. Why this man thinks that his 52% voting record with the GOP entitles him to be a Senator is puzzling. Why the GOP moss backs think he is fit for that office is outrageous.

Wait, I thought you were supposed to be this huge Mike Castle supporter or something?

Guess it’s a good thing you had your change of heart *before* you got that tattoo.

You didn’t get the tattoo yet, right?

OK Thanks. I thought he was doing a Left turn. Turns out he was so far left that it is probably impossible to go farther.

You are exactly right but the legend that he banned embryonic stem cell research seems to have taken hold among the uninformed.

What are you talking about? I've never supported Castle. All of the articles I've posted today were revealing his liberalism.

One can make an argument for abortion rights under Roe vs. Wade. The argument might not be persuasive, but there is a certain logic to it.

The argument for Embryonic Stem Cell Research, on the other hand, is flat-out evil. It weighs the value of human life against some external good, and finds in favor of the external. That kind of utilitarian thinking has paved the way for every mass-murdering despot to come down the pike, from Cain to Hitler to Mao.

We know where this road leads. We must not take this turn.
