The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) launched its first independent expenditure advertisement of the 2010 midterm election cycle today in Kentucky, entitled “Jockey Jack.”

NRSC Press Secretary Amber Marchand issued the following statement regarding the new advertisement in Kentucky:

“It’s clear from numerous public surveys that Rand Paul continues to dominate the race in Kentucky thanks to liberal trial lawyer Jack Conway’s eager endorsement of President Obama’s reckless spending agenda in Washington, including his failed stimulus debacle and massive health spending bill.”

ANNOUNCER: Whose horse is Jack Conway riding? When the U.S. Senate debated a government takeover of health care, Conway supported it. (The Heritage Foundation, 3/24/10, Jack Conway Press Release, 3/22/10)

When other states took the Obama health care law to court, Attorney General Jack Conway refused. (Hotline On-Call, 3/23/10, The Courier Journal, 4/18/10)

When Obama and Pelosi cut hundreds of billions from Medicare, Conway still said yes. (Reuters, 3/22/10, WashingtonPost.com, 3/19/10, Jack Conway Press Release, 3/22/10)

Big government running health care. Big cuts to Medicare. Jack Conway took their side. (Reuters, 3/22/10, WashingtonPost.com, 3/19/10, Conway Press Release, 3/22/10, Heritage Foundation, 3/24/10)

Jack Conway. He’s not riding Kentucky’s horse.

You know, I notice that all the NRSC does is attack candidates.
First they attack the GOP nominee during the primary, then they attack the Democrat nominee during the general.

Perhaps it wouldn’t be so awkward around the office after the primary if Cornhole stopped meddling in Republican primaries. This has been a seriously shameful and disasterous chapter for the Republican Party. The establishment’s assault on the grassroots will be in the history books, and Cornhole and Steele will forever be associated with being against The People. Right next to 0bama, Reid, and Pelousy.

“It’s clear from numerous public surveys that Rand Paul continues to dominate the race in Kentucky "

Then why are they spending money there, and not in Nevada?

Controlling the language is critical to success.

All Republicans MUST start referring to the tax change that the Dems want on December 31st as "The Democrat JACK-UP," or better yet, "The Obama Jack-Up."
