If she couldn’t win in the Republican primary, how does she expect to beat the candidate that defeated her, and the Democrat?
And all without her name on the ballot — and a difficult name to spell, at that.
I don’t understand why Murkowski would want to Charlie Crist herself and go from merely being rejected, to being openly despised. Charlie Crist could have bowed out gracefully. Instead he has embarassed himself, and is well on his way to humiliating himself in November.
Yet another sour grapes pub taking careful aim and shooting us in the foot with both barrels.
The party regulars are really having a tantrum.
They really do think it’s about them, not us.

In the case of Delaware, if the liberal Republican had won, we wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between him and the Democrat anyway.
I don’t buy your premise that by electing a conservative in the primary, we have somehow assured that the Democrats win in NV and DE.
This is the perpetual argument of the GOP establishment. If conservatives will just sit back and allow liberal Republicans to win primaries, those same liberal Republicans will change their ideological stripes and vote conservatively when it really matters. After all, we can’t give up THAT seat.
The problem is we have decades of experience to show that it doesn’t work out. A liberal is a liberal regardless of their party label.
As conservatives, we do far better to lose straight up than to endure a loss of a thousand cuts when we work to elect liberals who mouth the conservative mantra, if they mouth it at all, just long enough to retain power.

The RNC will quietly launch a campaign labeling the Tea Party as a bunch of right-wing extremists, and their friends in the MSM will only help them. And as I said in another thread, if you think the left has been vicious with Palin, just wait until you see what the GOP will do.
We are in the fight not only for this country, but for the future of conservatism. The results of primaries clearly show where the GOP's loyalty lies- to themselves and to power.
With every election, and every Tea Party candidate elected, the GOP/RNC becomes less and less relevant.
And there is no way they're going down without a nasty, bitter fight.
Lock and load, friends. It's going to be an ugly year.
Murkowski and Crist and Arlen Specter are iconic of what’s wrong with the Republican Party and why RINOs have actively assisted in the destruction of this country.
While I will donate to the ODonnell campaign, I frankly don’t care if she ultimately loses. A principled loss is far far better than suffering with a Vichey Republican.
Here's the crux. A majority does not matter if the agenda is not forwarded! However, if the moderates want to come in, sit in the back, shut up, and help conservatives kick the dems ass, then they will be useful!
