GOP to kick off 'Fire Pelosi' tour

Washington (CNN) -- Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele kicks off a 117-city bus tour in Washington on Wednesday morning as part of the party's effort to retake the House of Representatives.
The tour is called "Fire Pelosi" after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who would lose her job if Democrats lose control of the House. Republicans need to win 39 seats during midterm elections in November
The "Fire Pelosi" campaign began in March after the House voted to pass a landmark health care reform bill opposed by all Republicans. Pelosi, who helped lead the charge to pass the measure, the biggest expansion of federal health care guarantees since Medicare and Medicaid were enacted more than four decades ago, became the target of the GOP.
The party has a website dedicated to the cause -- firenancypelosi.com -- which shows the House speaker with a clenched fist in front of a background of flames and tells donors that if Republicans take 39 seats from the Democrats in November, it means "No More Madam Speaker."
The site says it has raised more than $1.5 million for the cause. GOPstore.com offers "Fire Pelosi" yard signs and baseball caps.

I’m all for the “Fire Pelosi Bus Tour. But why stop there? There isn’t an anti-American incumbent that should be left in Congress come November 3rd. And as far as their actions go, I’d say that should include Michael Steele, John Cornyn, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, the NRSC, and all Republicans In Name Only who inhabit the Washington beltway. Especially after their petulant, sour grapes refusal to back Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell in her bid for the Senate seat from Delaware. She was the people’s choice but now you won’t back her? I’ve never seen a bigger bunch of infantile nitwits in my life. Karl Rove? Karl Rove is a jerk.
Make no mistake. We’re coming for all of you. We’re taking the Republican Party back from the Democrat lites who infest Washington. Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent.
Actually the timing is good.
Such an effort would have made no sense in January ‘10. The voters have just begin to waken to the fact there is an election and now is the time to influence their votes. To hold such an event earlier would have been a waste.
Regarding years, the Republicans have opposed Obama and have been thwarted by as few as 4 or 5 liberals. As long as the witches from Maine are there, and there is not enough votes to render them meaningless, the Pubs can not be certain of prevailing in the Senate.
Flush dictatorial Pelosi in November!
