I guess financial donations to NRSC and republicans in general are not yet down low enough to suit the good-old-boy establishment republicans.

E-mail sent. I am a conservative first, a Republican second. Not one more dime to the GOP, conservative candidates only.

Just sent a nasty-gram to Cornyn, proud chair of the National INCUMBENT Senatorial Committee.

The lust for power is a terrible thing.

I’ve given to the RNC many times in the past. No more!

BTW, I’m certainly no Rockefeller Republican, just a midwestern, middle-class, stay at home mom.

Could you please balance my checkbook? I like how your math works! :-)

His math is accurate.

You nailed it. There is a book written by a Ivy League professor about the ruling class. Both party establishments are all the same and it IS all about power.

This position by NRSC and if by Cornyn is very difficult to understand its reasoning and purpose.

As a constituant and previous supporter of Sen, Cornyn, just sent him a strong email advising the Senator to reconsider this anti-conservative position.

My message sent ot the Senator

Senator, given your stated refusal to support the duly elected republican senate candidate from Delaware I call on you to resign your position as head of the NRSC. Who do you think you are to set yourself above the electorate?
I realize the statist elements of the party are reeling from the recent primary victory of conservative candidates.
The American people, I believe, are intent on rescuing the country from the leftist and I believe many Republicans are intent on doing the same thing for the Republican party. Pick your side sir, or have you?
God Bless you
Regards

Isn't it amazing that the very people who would turn their backs on the Conservatives in their own party to snuggle up with the enemy (Rats) to make the appearance of “Statesmanship” yet throw “Statesmanship” out the window when it comes to supporting their very own....

What a bunch of snakes...

Cornyn is my Senator, and I think he generally votes reasonably well. I just sent the following email to him:

“I supported Mike Castle for the Republican nomination even though I thought (and still think) that he would be a terrible Senator, just as he has been a terrible Representative. Despite the fact that even moderately conservative Republicans should be reluctant to be in the same political party as Castle, I bought the argument made by you and others that Castle could more easily defeat Chris Coons and might help the Republicans take control of the Senate.

I will now whole-heartedly support Christine O’Donnell in her race against Coons, and so should the NSRC. If Castle had defeated O’Donnell, you would have asked all of O’Donnell’s supporters to show party unity by supporting Castle. You and the NRSC should now do as you would have asked others to do and strongly support O’Donnell.

It has been improper for the NRSC to get involved in primary races. After all, you claim to head the National Republican Senatorial Committee, not the National Liberal Republican Senatorial Committee. Nevertheless, that involvement can be overlooked as having at least some tactical arguments in its favor. Not supporting Christine O’Donnell in her race against Coons cannot be overlooked. I have only one measly vote, but it will never again be cast for you if the NRSC fails to support strongly Christine O’Donnell in her race against Coons.

Whether I ever vote for you again or not, I appreciate your work in the Senate.”

If you are from Texas, please consider sending a letter or email to Cornyn asking that the NRSC support O’Donnell.

Just got his back from fb:

Kevin Wilcox http://www.nrsc.org/ NRSC Chairman Cornyn’s Statement On Delaware Senate Race Wednesday, September 15, 2010 @ 11:09 AM

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), released the following statement regarding the Delaware Senate race:

“Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee – and I personally as the committee’s chairman – strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O’Donnell in Delaware.

“I reached out to Christine this morning, and as I have conveyed to all of our nominees, I offered her my personal congratulations and let her know that she has our support. This support includes a check for $42,000 – the maximum allowable donation that we have provided to all of our nominees – which the NRSC will send to her campaign today. a few seconds ago · Report
