Word on Capitol Hill is that Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee with a well-worn passport to the world's hot spots, is in the mix to replace Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who's been hinting of an exit before the end of President Obama's first term. Kerry, as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has acted as an emissary for Obama.

Obama isn’t going to run again. Mrs. Clinton will pick the next Sec of State. Obama will retire undefeated. He has set the focus for the country’s future - energy, Washington as responsible for the economy and downsizing foreign war involvement. Obama will go to the UN like a Tony Blair.

from me to me.

i forgot bill bulger, a fine irishman.

it would bother me not in the least to see him claim the seat. parochialism rules amongst us irish. conservative or not, he still has time to inflict yet more damage.

the federali is still looking for his brother...

and atlantis.

Oh my goodness. I'm still on Lurches email list from the 200 4 campaign when I signed up for two free bumper stickers in order to cut them out for flip flops. His tone is so pathetic, that his mail reads like satire. Here is the latest example. Read and laugh...

subject Deltwow!
Dear xxx,

The news from Delaware is crystal clear: it's Sarah Palin's party now.

Her chosen radical rightwing candidate Christine O'Donnell, a candidate so extreme her state's GOP leader called her "delusional," defeated the well-respected Congressman Mike Castle. Mike Allen, in his influential Playbook this morning, sums it up, "Sarah Palin, who endorsed O'Donnell, is STRONGER."

But it's up to you to make it clear it won't be Sarah Palin's United States Senate.

We have to fight back. Click here to contribute right now to make sure we defeat the Tea Party extremists.

In Delaware, Chris Coons is running against O'Donnell, and he's a fantastic candidate. He knows we need policies that will put Americans back to work, to strengthen health care reform, not repeal it.

And the Tea Party assault doesn't stop in Delaware. One of our most valuable progressive Senators, a man who has fought as hard as anyone for our civil liberties, Russ Feingold, is under heavy attack by a very wealthy, very extreme candidate who has pledged to spend millions attacking Russ. Russ stood up for us against the abuses of the Bush Administration. He's one of my best colleagues in the Senate, and he needs our help.

Click here to contribute to Chris Coons and Russ Feingold and make sure we have people in the Senate who are working for us, not for the shadowy Karl Rove-backed interests and radicals that are pushing the Tea Party agenda.

We can't let this opportunity slip away from us. We inherited a brutal economy from the Bush Administration, and now those same forces that brought us to that point are trying to get back in power. But they are going too far, and we can stop them. So please, do what you can to help.

Thanks,
John Kerry

Yep. traitor Kerry is calling conservatives radical

The Muslims are offended by a woman in a position of authority so obama could score points for replacing her with a male.

And Hillary can start her campaign for 2012.

Don’t be persuaded by the stage-managed PR from the Dims and the Left, or anyone else about this.

Billary has now accumulated tons of foreign photo ops for Hillary and her “foreign policy bonifides” (as if taking pictures with foreign dignitaries is the equivalent of an in depth thought process) as well as garnering lots of foreign financial interests for Bill’s international lobbying and self-promotion business.

Being freed from State will allow her to hit the campaign trail in 2011 and since she has not really done anything in particular in the Obama administration, and has taken very few public positions on the domestic policy debates, Billary will be able to spin the idea that Hillary “is not Obama”, while, in truth, behind the scenes, they are two peas in a pod.

This PR campaign, which Bill is helping to engineer, began in earnest recently with a “foreign policy” speech she gave at the Council on Foreign Relations, where she offered various linguistic variations of professing a desire to see an America again taking a leadership role in the world, and sounding very unlike Obama in how she parsed those words.

Conservatives will need to get their best communicators forward and prominent to un-parse her spin for the public and force her to show her true Obama-like colors.

Hillary is Obama in a pantsuit, but I agree she will challenge the Muslim for the Commiecrat nomination in 2012. The Muslim might even step aside and retire “undefeated” and cash in with a job from Soros.

"She...is as bad as Osambo or worse."

Couldn't be. You can't get lower than the bottom. At this point, I'd take an insane midget clone made from Hillary's toenail clippings and ear hair over 0bama.

Then that means that Hillary is going to oppose obama in the 2012 election.

I don’t think Kerry would accept the appointment as Secretary of State (which would last only until Obama leaves the presidency, i.e., in January 2013) even if offered; his Senate term doesn’t end until 2014, and he probably can’t even conceive the possibility of losing reelection.

Hillary Clinton as President with a Republican congress is a waste of her time.

You bet she is! I’ve been predicting that for a while now.

And this story seems to confirm that at least some insiders agree.

That’s two years away. That means there will be another election for House in 2012. Where’s that guarantee that we win and hold the House four straight years?
