Mayor Giuliani started these “Quality of Life” violations in the 90’s...
And they just keep going, and going, and going......
How about a “Cigarette Smoke Kills Bedbugs!” sticker?
They already did that in Wisconsin! At the Glen Hills Campground in St. Croix County Wisconsin which is a county park you cannot Smoke anywhere on the grounds period. The Nazi’s aren’t only in New York. We were shocked we went over to fish and they now have signs everywhere.
I preferred reading the legislation in the original German.
It just doesn’t translate as well in English.
I picture an old man who has spent his life smoking inside a small one room efficiency apartment somewhere in Manhattan. He can’t smoke outside so in order to maintain the addiction he stays inside.
He gets cancer earlier than he would have if he had been smoking outside. He dies prematurely thus depriving the state of future cig tax revenue, income tax revenue etc. If he’s on gov health care it probably winds up being a net loss.
Let em smoke outside.
I don’t remember what he banned. I do remember he stopped me from going into Saks 5th Avenue if I walked on the east side of the street (that lasted what? about two weeks) and once tried to install taxi stands. That never got off the ground.
