The editorial comment in the headline gave the mistaken impression that this was some sort of cover-up, a further downplaying of this by our government, rather than a sensible move by a Defense attorney in protecting his client.

Brfore it is over, they will decide that he had a First Amendment right to shoot the people and the officer that shot him will be prosecuted for committing a hate crime.
We live today in an upside dowm world where right is wrong and wrong is right. never thought I would live to see it, but, here we are.
Hasan and any like him should be tried exactly by the same
standard they used when they decided to commit Jihad.I think
using them as target in shooting range— or maybe dressing them in all white robes then requiring them to submit to having their foolish head lopped off might improve the situation.
