Baltimore police were swarming John Hopkins Hospital, where there were reports a person has been shot and that a man has taken a hostage on the eighth floor of one of the buildings, according to authorities and correspondence over the police radio.

The hospital or the arrow?
When I 1st heard this (ironically, through Fox TV when I just got home from the store, rather than on local news radio on my way back), I had a feeling it was a certain type of person, being where JHH is located.
I was wrong, overall, although I don’t know all the details yet.
According to the AP, he killed himself and his mother after the doctor (who he also shot) gave him a grim prognosis for his mother’s health. He become distraught and pulled a weapon and fired.

So, he got a diagnosis that was bad, shot the doctor and then his mother and himself? Very sad!

Good grief. This country is getting nuttier every day. Now a doctor can`t even give a prognosis without being afraid they will be killed for it? Scary.
Talk about nutty. If his mother’s prognosis was poor before, it sure is a lot worse now that he shot her to death.
well, some guy talking in Florida was responsible for the distress and ensuing violence it led to, so clearly the left will blame the doctor here. oh, wait, he wasn’t burning a koran, so in this case we’ll just blame the gun.

Yeah, that’s what I initially thought, but, as time went by, I began to believe that this person is as white as a sheet.
Murder-suicide? That seems to be mainly done by whites and Asians, for some reason.
In one of the news reports, the media had to make the point that the perp had a carry permit issued in Virginia. Sheese. Why was that even part of the story?
What I 1st heard was simply that someone shot a doc in JHH, and that he was still free in the hospital. That’s all. Thus, my guess.
But when I heard about a patient’s son, I kind of changed my stance (especially when I heard he was from VA and had a REGISTERED gun).
Of course, I still don’t know just what this guy is like. I’m still assuming!
