"For the life of me I can’t find a single one who’ll even dare to state that there’s anything right about getting on national TV and trashing your winning candidate a few minutes after victory."

It's called anger, okay? I'm not defending him, he was wrong for doing it. But he's also human. As a Republican operative he sees a chance for the Pubbies to take over the Senate and he thinks that the voters of Delaware just screwed that up.

I also disagree with his analysis. Besides, even under the best of circumstances the Pubbies only get to around 51 seats. A majority in the Senate with 51 seats is pretty useless. There will still be gridlock and Obama will have the "majority" party to blame it on when he runs in 2012. It's much better and more important to take over the house. Per the Constitution all spending bills start there. We can strangle the healthcare funding for two years and get rid of it after 2012 with a pubbie President.

Again, I think Karl Rove was wrong and is still wrong in his criticism of O'Donnell. However, I'm not going to be calling him a RINO or say he's part of the problem after he's fought a lifetime for conservative not necessarily republican causes.

KR crossed the line....calling into question a candidates moral character....

this with the likes of Rangel and Dodd and the buried Teddy,Barney of course....

Rush is right....Rove and other pubs have bent over backwards to be "nice" to these crooks...

but someone who gets elected legitimately by the people KR comes down on in a public way..?????

so Christine is poor....so are most of us....

funny how the rich get a pass on their financal doings or failings or morality but if you don't have money, or born with a silver spoon in your mouth, boy are you asking for it.....

That’s what I saw, too. No remorse, no back pedalling.

This money won’t corrode because it is coming from the people.

Maybe so. I just remember the remorse people had over Scott Brown after they insisted on ignoring what he was upfront about: he was a wishywashy moderate.

I just have to assume that this meteoric rise will either burn out, or return at the same velocity.

Reagan had lots of slow starts and sputters to temper him.

Scott Brown was always a moderate. Anybody who thought otherwise was deceiving himself. Are you suggesting O’Donnell is really a moderate?

Bingo. How can the exclusive club of the U.S. Senate welcome a person who as threatened with foreclosure just 2 years ago. That's emnarrassing to the azzwipes.

These guys were sipping brandy and smoking cigars, and bailing out banks. While Christine was scrambling to save her investment.

They make me ill.

its time to play nice...

..its the Sarah way.....speak softly ( but carry a big stick)....

O Donnell has to be bigger than the Castle group...and the old guard....

that attitude has served Palin well...

we all know that Sarah Palin would have come out immediately and supported Castle...and Murkowski if she had won.....

that's class and thats called being a team player....

so it does make you wonder about Rovey and about Castle, who AFAIK....has not called Christine as of yet...

Well, she just lost a $35 donation from me due to this:

She's required to ask for that info.

Is DeMint’s fundraising total included in the total on O’Donnell’s web page?

Too bad. Every state has Ethics Commissions and this information must be provided by every donor and is reported to that state on forms provided. Those of us who serve as financial officers in any kind of political organization are overwhelmed with the paperwork that must be completed during an election year. The fines, at least in Texas, are substantial for failure to comply. Contributions from a Corporate or other types of organizations cannot be accepted. Hopefully you will now change your mind and contribute.

I believe those are FEC rules, not hers. Gotta know who’s donating money dontchaknow. Besides, you could put in “N/A” for employer, and “unlisted” for phone - maybe.

That's not what I said.

The comparison was that the bigger the hype, the harder the fall.

There were HUGE numbers of freepers who seemed ASTOUNDED when Brown did what he said he'd do after he won. They called him "sellout" "traitor" whatever.

Because they projected their dreams on him, and that was illusion.

I see a similar thing here. People ignore anything negative about her, and demonize anyone who dare criticize her.

Where's the realism? She's a politician. Maybe a good one. But still, a politician.
