7. forced marriage at 8
9. one of several “wives”
10 and back to voting does she or doesnt she ???
All of the above are are either rights in a western culture or taboo in an Islamic country..
Or forced in an Islamic country and not in the West..
In 1979, Igor was in Saudia Arabia. He happened to show a photo of our 10 year-old daughter to one of his Saudi “friends.” Almost immediately, he was offered $10,000 for her. (In 1977, it was a lot of money!)
Neither of us knew Shariah Law, and neither of us knew the repercussions of accepting. However, both of us refused. She was too precious to be given away!
