Biden defeated O'Donnell quite handily in 2008. I don't know what kind of influence he'd have but I don't see it hurting Coons.

Its a very different political scene now, Biden is long associated with Obama, Obama is bad news, Christine was an unknown with very little money, the Tea Party did not exist, and there is a tidal wave of anger now against insiders and statists, and if you are an insider statist like Biden, its a double whammy.
In this light, Biden may very well hurt Coons, Obama definitely would.
